INACCURATE.

I hate stuck up literature majors like this who think that the written word is the only medium worth consideration. Small-minded people like that just lack the faculties to appreciate a narrative that isn’t literally spelled out in front of them. Step out of the 20s, people. Film has progressed and is a legitimate art form deserving of critical discourse.

Since I’ve been focusing mainly on my lit. classes, I’ve noticed that many of my fellow lit/engl majors can be disgustingly snobby about their “precious” literature. So what if I don’t like Jane Austen? (Really she bores me to death with marriage and “love” that I don’t agree with.) Or that saying, “I’m an English Major, you do the math” Bitch, why not do both? You’d be more admirable that way.

Oddly enough, it was tv that had inspired me to write, which eventually led me to appreciate and love books.  How’s that for thinking?
